Both smooth away crow’s feet, laugh lines and furrowed brows. Both Botox and Dysport are FDA approved. Both products are injected in the same way and in the same places, using a small, very fine needle that causes little discomfort. The two products work in a similar fashion, reducing muscle activity to smooth the skin. The effects last for approximately three to four months.

Neither Botox nor Dysport injections require any downtime, they cause minimal discomfort, and are done in just a few seconds in the office. Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers such as Restylane®, Perlane® and Juvederm® are frequently used by Dr. Price to reduce or eliminate wrinkles and scars, enhance lips, and to address some of the changes in skin that occur because of aging.

Restylane®

Designed to smooth winkles, sculpt lips and shape facial contours between the eyebrows and from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth, Restylane is a synthetic gel made with hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction. It remains in the skin for several months.

Perlane®

Used to treat deep facial lines, augment the lips and contour the cheeks and chin. Perlane, is made by the same company as Restylane. It is also made with hyaluronic acid but is used for deeper folds and wrinkles than Restylane.

Juvéderm®

Working together with collagen and elastin, Juvéderm plumps up fine lines, crow’s feet, thinning lips and loosening skin. Made with hyaluronic acid, it is hypoallergenic and highly biocompatible. It comes in three formulas, each optimized for the area being treated. It typically lasts for six to nine months.
